Abstract

Pada bidang Kesehatan Ibu dan Anak (KIA), penggunaan data rutin berkontribusi terhadap kualitas pelayanan yang dapat mempengaruhi Angka Kematian Ibu dan Angka Kematian Bayi, sehingga penting untuk memahami faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pemanfaatan data rutin untuk perbaikan program KIA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi    pemanfaatan    data    KIA    dalam    proses    perencanaan   dan penganggaran program KIA serta faktor-faktor yang perlu ditingkatkan dalam pemanfaatan data KIA salah satu Puskesmas di Kota Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, yang melibatkan partisipan dari pihak puskesmas dalam bidangnya.  Data yang telah dikumpulkan melalui wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan data KIA untuk perencanaan dan anggaran masih belum optimal dan perlu ditingkatkan. Hal ini disebabkan masih terdapat kendala dalam pemanfaatan data yaitu jaringan internet. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan data dan informasi yang benar, dapat dibuat sebuah keputusan dan menyusun rencana untuk mengatasi masalah yang ditemukan. Dengan demikian diharapkan dapat meningkatkan ketersediaan data Kesehatan Ibu dan Anak (KIA) yang akurat, lengkap dan tepat waktu yang akhirnya dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu bahan untuk perencanaan, monitoring dan evaluasi program kesehatan pada UPT Puskesmas Medan Johor.
