Abstract

Gawai merupakan teknologi berupa elektronik yang memiliki tujuan disfungsi praktis terutama membantu dan memudahkan pekerjaan manusia.Teknologi  gawai sangat mudah dan menarik perhatian terutama dikalangan anak-anak. Penggunaan gawai pada anak lebih berdampak negatif dan dapat menurunkan minat belajar anak karena lebih suka bermain gawai. Anakyang kecanduan gawai menyebabkan anak menjadi pribadi yang tertutup dan suka menyendiri, dan anak bisa mengalami beberapa gangguan seperti pada kesehatan otak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan penggunaan gawai dengan kemampuan kognitif pada anak usia 4-6 tahun. Penelitan ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain Descriptive Corelation dengan pendekatan crosssectional. Jumlah populasi sebanyak32 orang dan sampel yang di ambil sebanyak 32 responden. Teknik sampel yang digunakan yaitu Total sampling. Metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan observasi. Menggunakan uji spearmen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas anak berjenis kelamin perempuan sebanyak 19 responden (59,45%), mayoritas usia anak 5 tahun sebanyak 28 responden (87,5%), mayoritas anak menggunakan gawai dengan pernyataan kadang-kadang sebanyak 29 responden (90,6%), mayoritas responden yang mengalami keterlambatan sebanyak 26 responden (81,3%).Hasil menunjukkan bahwaterdapat hubungan penggunaan gawai dengan kemampuan kognitif anak usia 4-6 tahun di Ra Al-Khairat Kotanopan Tahun 2022dengan nilai p value 0,025 (p< 0,05).
