Abstract

Kasus penderita HIV/AIDS di Indonesia per September 2020 sebanyak 409.857 kasus. Sedangkan di Sumatera utara berjumlah 21.160 orang dan di Kota Padangsidimpuan terdapat 17 kasus HIV/AIDS. Adapun salah satu faktor penyebab tingginya kasus HIV/AIDS adalah disebabkan karena kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang penyakit HIV/AIDS dan masih tingginya pandangan atau sikap negatif masyarakat tentang HIV/AIDS. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Hubungan Pengetahuan dan Sikap Calon Pengantin Tentang HIV/AIDS dengan Pelaksanaan Tes HIV di Puskesmas Sadabuan Kota Padangsidimpuan. Jenis penelitian yaitu kuantitatif dengan desain Cross Sectional. Jumlah sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling dengan jumlah 67 responden. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah Chi Square. Hasil penelitian diketahui ada hubungan Pengetahuan Calon Pengantin tentang HIV/AIDS dengan pelaksanaan tes HIV dengan nilai p (0,017) < α dan ada hubungan sikap calon pengantin tentang HIV/AIDS dengan pelaksanaan tes HIV dengan nilai p (0,021) < α. Diharapkan bagi responden yang memiliki pengetahuan kurang, dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang HIV/AIDS dengan berbagai informasi kesehatan melalui media sosial maupun media cetak.
