HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN LANSIA TENTANG STROKE DENGAN TINDAKAN PENCEGAHAN STROKE TAHUN 2021

ABSTRAK

Stroke adalah suatu kondisi yang terjadi ketika pasokan darah ke otak terganggu atau berkurang akibat penyumbatan atau pecahnya pembuluh darah. Prevalensi penderita hipertensi di Indonesia meningkat dimana pada tahun 2013 mencapai (25,8 %) dan pada tahun 2018 (34,1%). Peningkatan penderita hipertensi pada lansia di Puskesmas Labuhan Rasoki juga meningkat yaitu pada tahun 2019 sebanyak 264 meningkat pada tahun 2020 menjadi 326 orang.Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan penderita hipertensi pada lansia tentang stroke dengan tindakan pencegahan stroke di wilayah kerja puskesmas labuhan rasoki. Jenis penelitian ialah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Jumlah polulasi sebanyak 326 orang .Teknik penetapan sampel ialah simple random sampling dengan jumlah sebanyak 76 orang. Alat pengumpulan sampel ialah kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas berpengetahuan kurang (42,9%) dan dari segi tindakan pencegahan mayoritas tidak melakukan pencegahan (67,5%). Hasil uji Chi- square menunjukkan nilai dan p = 0,000 (p < 0,005 )sehingga hasilnya adanya hubungan pengetahuan penderita hipertensi pada lansia tentang stroke dengan pencegahan stroke di wilayah kerja puskesmas labuhan rasoki tahun 2020. Saran penelitian di harapkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan tindakan pencegahan stroke bagi penderita hipertensi lansia melalui penyuluhan kesehatan.

Stroke is a condition that happened when supply blood to the brain is disturbed or less due to blockage or rupture of a blood vessel. Prevalence of patients with hypertension in Indonesia is increasing where in 2013 reached (25.8%) and in 2018 (34.1%). Increased patients with hypertension in the elderly at Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Labuhan Rasoki also increased that is in 2019 as much as 264 increase in 2020 to 326 people. Purpose of this Research to know knowledge relationship   hypertension sufferers in the elderly about stroke with stroke prevention in Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Labuhan Rasoki. The type of research is quantitative research with a cross sectional design. The total population is 326 people . The sampling technique is   simple random sampling with a total of 76 people. Sample collection tool is a questionnaire. The results of the study show majority have less knowledge (42.9%) and in terms of action majority prevention did not do prevention (67.5%). Chi-square test results show the value and p = 0.000 ( p < 0.005) so that the result is knowledge relationship hypertension sufferers in the elderly about stroke with stroke prevention in Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Labuhan Rasoki 2020. The Research advice hope there is knowledge improvement and stroke prevention for elderly hypertensive patients through health education.
