Abstract

Upaya peningkatan mutu secara berkelanjutan, baik melalui mekanisme internal maupun eksternal, secara konsisten dan berkesinambungan guna menjamin kualitas pelayanan yang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan mutu keselamatan pasien di RS Khusus Mata Medan Baru. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif desain survei analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Populasi penelitian yaitu pegawai sebanyak 242 orang dengan sampel 71 orang yang diambil menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Analisis data menggunakan analisis univariat dan bivariat dengan analisis Chi-square pada batas kemaknaan perhitungan statistik p value (0,05).  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai p untuk variabel kepemimpinan yaitu p = 0,040, sarana prasarana p = 0,025, komunikasi p = 0,030 dan kerja sama p = 0,020, yang artinya ada pengaruh kepemimpinan, sarana prasarana, komunikasi, dan kerja sama terhadap peningkatan mutu keselamatan pasien. Diharapkan pimpinan rumah sakit memberikan dukungan, motivasi dan arahan kepada para staf untuk menerapkan keselamatan pasien secara efektif. Bagi rumah sakit menyediakan sarana prasarana dan alat komunikasi yang mendukung, guna terselenggaranya kerjasama tim yang baik.
