Abstract

Menoragia merupakan gangguan menstruasi yang dapat menurunkan kualitas hidup akibat perdarahan berlebih dan keluhan sistemik yang menyertainya, sehingga memerlukan penatalaksanaan yang efektif dan holistik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi respons terapeutik asuhan akupunktur pada kasus menoragia dengan latar belakang sindrom Defisiensi Qi Limpa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi kasus dengan satu partisipan yang menjalani enam sesi terapi akupunktur. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pemeriksaan four diagnostic methods Chinese Medicine (Wang, Wen, Wen, Qie) pada sesi awal dan akhir terapi, meliputi keluhan utama, kondisi umum, pemeriksaan lidah dan nadi, serta wawancara klinis. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif-komparatif antara kondisi sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya penurunan durasi perdarahan haid dari sekitar 15 hari menjadi 8–9 hari dengan volume yang lebih terkontrol, peningkatan energi tubuh, berkurangnya rasa lelah dan dingin pada ekstremitas, perbaikan fungsi pencernaan, serta penurunan keluhan kecemasan dan overthinking. Perubahan positif juga tampak pada pemeriksaan lidah, nadi, suara, dan kualitas napas. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, disarankan agar terapi akupunktur dapat dipertimbangkan sebagai salah satu pendekatan komplementer dalam penanganan kasus menoragia serta menjadi dasar bagi penelitian lanjutan dengan desain yang lebih luas.
