Abstract

ABSTRAK

Batuk pasca-stroke merupakan komplikasi umum akibat disfagia yang meningkatkan risiko aspirasi dan menurunkan kualitas hidup pasien. Terapi akupunktur dipandang sebagai alternatif non-farmakologis yang aman dan efektif dalam menangani kondisi ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manfaat asuhan akupunktur pada penderita batuk pasca-stroke. Desain penelitian menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif terhadap satu partisipan laki-laki berusia 68 tahun yang menjalani enam sesi terapi di Rumah Sehat Indah Pandaan selama bulan April 2025. Data dikumpulkan melalui empat metode pemeriksaan akupunktur (Wang, Wen, Wen, Qie) serta dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil terapi menunjukkan perbaikan signifikan berupa penurunan frekuensi batuk, dahak menjadi jernih dan sedikit, hilangnya sesak napas, serta peningkatan kualitas tidur. Diagnosis akupunktur yang ditegakkan adalah Sindrom Dahak Panas pada Paru dan Ginjal tidak menangkap Qi Paru. Partisipan disarankan untuk menjaga gaya hidup sehat, termasuk rutin berolahraga, tidak merokok, dan mengelola stres untuk mempertahankan kondisi kesehatan.
