HUBUNGAN TINGKAT KECEMASAN IBU POSTPARTUM DENGAN PRODUKSI ASI DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS PINTU LANGIT KOTA PADANGSIDIMPUAN TAHUN 2025

Abstract

Setelah melahirkan, seorang ibu mengalami berbagai perubahan psikologis yang muncul akibat peralihan perannya dari masa kehamilan menjadi seorang ibu. Perubahan ini dapat memicu timbulnya gangguan kecemasan, yang jika tidak ditangani dengan baik, dapat berdampak pada produksi ASI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat kecemasan ibu postpartum dan produksi ASI di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Pintu Langit, Kota Padangsidimpuan, pada tahun 2024. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan studi cross-sectional. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari 47 ibu postpartum yang berada di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Pintu Langit dari bulan Desember 2024 hingga Januari 2025, dengan menggunakan metode total sampling. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji Chi-Square, yang menunjukkan hasil (p= 0,002), menandakan adanya hubungan signifikan antara tingkat kecemasan ibu postpartum dengan produksi ASI. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara tingkat kecemasan ibu postpartum dengan produksi ASI. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar petugas kesehatan memberikan edukasi kepada ibu postpartum mengenai tingkat kecemasan dapat mempengaruhi produksi ASI. Hal ini dilakukan dengan menyampaikan informasi yang akurat dan sesuai dengan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan. Dengan demikian, diharapkan tingkat kecemasan ibu postpartum stabil dan pentingnya produksi ASI akan terwujud, serta terjalin hubungan yang baik antara petugas kesehatan dan ibu postpartum.
