Abstract

Seiring bertambahnya usia, risiko seseorang mengalami penyakit kardiovaskular juga cenderung meningkat. Salah satu kondisi kardiovaskular yang umum dan menjadi perhatian utama dalam dunia kesehatan adalah hipertensi. Memasuki usia 40 tahun ke atas, kerja jantung menjadi lebih berat dalam memompa darah karena elastisitas pembuluh darah menurun, menyebabkan pembuluh menjadi lebih kaku dan keras. Tekanan darah tinggi merupakan penyakit tidak menular yang menempati peringkat ketiga di kawasan Asia Tenggara dan menjadi salah satu penyebab utama kematian secara global.. Penelitian studi kasus merupakan penelitian yang mengeksplorasi serta mengevaluasi pelaksanaan asuhan keperawatan pada lansia penderita hipertensi melalui terapi inovatif berupa rendaman kaki menggunakan air hangat yang dicampur jahe di Desa Sinabun. Setelah dilakukan intervensi, klien (Tn. B) menunjukkan perkembangan positif. Klien menyatakan telah memahami penjelasan yang diberikan oleh perawat dan berkomitmen untuk rutin melakukan kontrol kesehatan. Tekanan darahnya menurun, tubuh terasa lebih rileks, serta keluhan sakit kepala dan rasa berat di tengkuk mulai mereda. Secara umum, klien tampak memahami kondisinya, tidak lagi terlihat bingung, tampak lebih tenang, dan mulai menerapkan saran-saran yang diberikan oleh perawat. Tekanan Darah (TD): 130/90 mmHg, Nadi (N): 89 kali/menit, Frekuensi Napas (RR): 20 kali/menit, Suhu (S): 36,3°C dengan masalah telah teratasi dan planning: lanjutkan intervensi yang telah diberikan dan pertahankan kondisi klien yang sudah membaik., dorong klien untuk tetap melanjutkan pengobatan ke fasilitas pelayanan Kesehatan, anjurkan klien untuk terus menjaga kesehatan secara mandiri. Sarankan untuk rutin melakukan terapi rendam kaki menggunakan air hangat dan jahe.
