Abstract

ABSTRAK

Hipertensi, juga dikenal sebagai tingginya tekanan darah, ditandai dengan tingginya tekanan sistolik darah diatas 140 mmHg dan diastolic diatas dari 90 mmHg. Kebiasaan minum kopi pada lansia bisa menjadi topik yang menarik untuk dibahas. Secara umum, minum kopi pada lansia sering kali dianggap sebagai bagian dari gaya hidup yang terintegrasi, dan beberapa penelitian telah mengeksplorasi manfaat dan risiko yang terkait dengan konsumsi kopi pada populasi lansia. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis hubungan kebiasaan mengkonsumsi kopi dengan penyakit hipertensi pada lansia di Puskesmas Kamonji Kota Palu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh lansia yang berada di Puskesmas Kamonji yang berjumlah 294 orang, dengan Teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling dengan jumlah 75 orang responden. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 75 responden memiliki kebiasaan mengkonsumsi kopi rendah sebanyak 58 orang (46.0%) dan yang memiliki penyakit hipertensi pada grade 1 sebanyak 27 orang (36.0%), dengan menggunakan uji statistik rank spearman p-value = 0.002 < 0.05. Dari penelitian ini yaitu ada hubungan kebiasaan mengkonsumsi kopi dengan penyakit hipertensi pada lansia di Puskesmas  Kamonji. Dari penelitian ini  diharapkan akan memberikan gambaran kepada Puskesmas Kamonji tentang hubungan kebiasaan mengonsumsi kopi dengan penyakit hipertensi pada lansia di Puskesmas tersebut.

ABSTRACT

Hypertension, also known as high blood pressure with characterized by a systolic blood pressure is more than 140 mmHg and a diastolic pressure is more than 90 mmHg. Coffee drinking habits toward elderly become an interesting topic to discuss. In general, coffee drinking in older adults is often considered part of an integrated lifestyle, and several studies have explored the benefits and risks associated with coffee consumption for their populations. The main goal of this study was to analyze the correlation between coffee consumption habits and hypertensive disease toward elderly at Kamonji Public Health Centre, Palu. The type of research is quantitative with an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. The total of population in this study was 294 elderly people at the Kamonji Health Centre, and total of sample was 75 respondents that taken by purposive sampling technique. The results showed that among of 75 respondents, about 58 people (46.0%) had low coffee consumption habits and 27 people (36.0%) with grade 1 of hypertension, by using the spearman rank statistical test p-value = 0.002 <0.05. it mentioned that there is a correlation between coffee consumption habits and hypertension toward elderly at Kamonji Public Health Centre. By this study it expected that need provide an overview to the Kamonji Public Health Centre management about the correlation between coffee consumption habits and hypertension toward elderly at the Public Health Centre.
