Abstract

Emesis gravidarum adalah salah satu ketidaknyamanan pada ibu hamil di awal kehamilan dengan gejala emesis gravidarum yang disertai pusing sehingga dapat menjadikan ibu kurang nafsu makan. Emesis gravidarum harus diwaspadai karena selain mengganggu aktifitas sehari-hari, emesis gravidarum yang bertambah berat akan menjadi hiperemesis gravidarum (mual muntah yang berlebihan) berdampak pada ibu dapat mengalami resiko anemia, perdarahan, dan mudah terserang penyakit sedangkan pada janin dapat mengganggu pertumbuhan dan perkembangan janin. Cara mengatasi emesis gravidarum dengan metode non farmakologi yaitu akupresur titik P6, dimana Klinik Pratama Afiyah belum menggunakan metode akupresur titik P6 sebagai salah satu cara mengatasi emesis gravidarum. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas akupresur titik P6 pada ibu hamil dengan emesis gravidarum di Klinik Pratama Afiyah Tahun 2023. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pre-eksperimental dengan desain one group pre-test dan post-test yang dilakukan di Klinik Pratama Afiyah pada tanggal 10 Mei s/d 26 Juni 2023 dengan jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 16 responden menggunakan purposive sampling dengan mempertimbangkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Analisis data yang dilakukan adalah analisis univariat dan bivariat menggunakan Uji-T Dependen. Hasil penelitian ini adalah p-value=0,001 (<0,05) yang artinya akupresur titik P6 efektif terhadap penurunan frekuensi emesis gravidarum pada ibu hamil. Diharapkan Klinik Pratama Afiyah kota Pekanbaru menjadikan metode akupresur titik P6 ini sebagai salah satu cara untuk mengatasi gejala emesis gravidarum pada ibu  hamil.
