Abstract

Pap smear adalah suatu test yang aman dan murah dan telah dipakai bertahun-tahun lamanya untuk mendeteksi kelainan-kelainan yang terjadi pada sel-sel epitel serviks. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi ibu usia 30-60 tahun terhadap pemeriksaan pap smear di lingkungan II kelurahan sidangkal kota padangsisdimpuan tahun 2024. Jenis penelitian ini adalah bersifat analitik dengan metode cross sectional. Dari hasil penelitian berdasarkan pengetahuan mayoritas pengetahuan cukup sebanyak 34 orang (44%), minoritas berpengetahuan kurang sebanyak 24 orang (31%), berdasarkan sosial budaya mayoritas mendukung sebanyak 45 orang (58%), minoritas tidak mendukung sebanyak 32 orang (42%), berdasarkan sosial ekonomi mayoritas pendapatan menengah sebanyak 14 orang (18%), minoritas pendapatan tinggi sebanyak 7 orang (9%). Berdasarkan uji statistik diperoleh nilai P=0,000 (p<0,05) artinya Ho ditolak berarti Ha diterima dan ada pengaruh pengetahuan dan sosial budaya dengan pap smear. Berdasarkan uji statistik diperoleh nilai P=0,001 (p<0,05) artinya Ho ditolak berarti Ha diterima dan tidak ada pengaruh terhadap pap smear. Dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan ibu tentang pemeriksaan pap smear dikategorikan berpengetahuan cukup yang dipengaruhi oleh sosial budaya, dan sosial ekonomi.
